A Brief History Of Pandora Bracelets

The pandora charm bracelets is the current buzz word among jewellery lovers globally. Pandora started its journey in 1982 with a humble start as a jewellery shop in modest surroundings of Norrebrogade in Copenhagen, Denmark, by goldsmith P.Enevoldsen and his wife. They used to travel to Thailand for importing different jewellery articles in demand, with time the demand increased so they shifted their business from retailing to wholesale.

For a few years, the company kept retailing and wholesale side by side. The wholesale business flourished vigorously and the company discontinued its retail activities in 1987, focusing only on wholesale and moved into larger premises. With huge success in business, the company decided to open their own factory in Thailand to take control of all aspects of jewellery manufacturing and ensuring their designs.

A new designer, Lone Frandsen was hired, and main focus of the company aimed at introducing new jewellery brand. In 1996 a goldsmith and designer, Lisbeth Larsen was hired. Lone Frandsen and Lisbeth teamed together and worked on the new brand for the company and proved vital for Pandora’s style.

In the year 1999, Denmark was charmed with the first wave of Pandora charm bracelets. Consumers took hand in hand the Pandora’s concept of interchangeable charms and beads and the whole experience was so successful that the demand grew rapidly locally and in markets abroad.

Pandora is a Global brand name now with selling its products specially Pandora bracelets in 18 countries worldwide. With team of 35 in head office based in Copenhagen and 1000 workers working at Pandora Productions, millions are now cherishing their factory based in Thailand, the small retail business started by team of two, 25 years ago.
